April 22nd, 2008:
Alstate Steel annoucnces a 100% Medical Coverage Plan for all Alstate Steel, Inc. Employees. We have shosen a proactive plan to providing heath coverage to all our assets in the company. Knowing that Health Care needs vary from each individual, Alstate Steel also offers a buy up option that will allow lower deductables for those who choose that option while Alstate Steel is paying 100% of the base plan.
May 22nd, 2008:
Alstate Steel, Inc. announces a gasoline gift card incentive for all hourly employees. Any employee who does not miss a day of scheduled work will br rewarded with a $25.00 gift card for that month. If the employee continues this consecutively for 3 months, that employee will receive a gift card for $50.00 for the 3rd month and the process will repeat itself.
October 2009:
Alstate Steel, Inc is pleased to announce that the AISC Certification is complete and Alstate Steel, Inc has become listed as an American Institute of Steel Construction Certified Fabricator for Structural Steel Buildings. We all have worked dilligently to move forward for the quality of fabricated structural steel and we are proud of our team for this accomplishment.
2009 Year End:
Alstate Steel, Inc earns a Schedule award for the Hewlitt Packard Project from Reid and Associates.
June 2010:
Alstate Steel, Inc. announces a new fabrication machine to the production facility. The automated beam line and saw will further help the employees in the plant continue to meet or exceed schedules.
September 2010: Steel Day
Alstate Steel, Inc. receives an accomodation from Governer Bill Richardson for the continued effort for Green Building using structural steel fabricated products in New Mexico.
