April 22nd, 2008 - Alstate Steel announced today a 100% Medical Coverage Plan for all of its employees. Unlike many other companies, Alstate Steel choose to provide a proactive approach to providing health care coverage for their employees. Knowing that health care needs vary for each individual Alstate Steel also offers a buy up option that will allow lower deductables for those choosing that option while still paying 100% of the base plan.

May 5th 2008 - Alstate Steel announces a gasoline gift card incentive plan for all hourly employees. Any employee who does not miss a day of scheduled work will be rewarded with a $25.00 gift card for that given month. If the employee continues this consecutively for 3 months that employee will receive a gift card for $50.00 for the third month and the process will repeat itself.
