JEFF WALLIS - CEO
Jeff Wallis is the CEO of Alstate Steel. His innovation and commitment are the driving force behind the success and growth of the company. Along with his team of seasoned professionals, Jeff plays an integral role in the day to day operations and emphasizes a hands-on approach in contract negotiations, project kick-offs and client interactions. Jeff comes from a long lineage of family run steel fabrication shops. As a young boy he learned his craft from the ground up by sweeping floors and asking questions. He knew he was destined to be in the business of steel fabrication, and has performed in every position imaginable since then. Jeff relocated his Family from California to New Mexico in 1996 and in 1997 Alstate Steel was conceived and started by Jeff. Over the last 11 years, Alstate Steel has grown from a local steel fabricator to a leading provider of complete turn-key steel construction services in the Southwest with projects that expand into the surrounding states. In the spring of 2007, Jeff expanded the operation with a state-of-the-art fabrication plant spanning 8 acres and encompasses 24,000 square feet of production space. Alstate Steel now operates in two facilities that are adjacent to each other, combined, both facilities offer more than 32,000 square feet of steel fabrication along with enhanced production and delivery capabilities.

Sunday March 22nd 2009 - Jeff Wallis invited all of his employees and staff to view the HP call center first phase of steel erection. "It's important to me personally for all those involved to see where and how their hard efforts and dedication end up, not to mention how important it is for everyone at Alstate Steel to meet outside of the work environment to see for themselves what they have had a hand in creating. Taking them all to lunch, that's my privilege."
